Perfect book for non statisticians

I am a researcher (not a statistician), and I use SPSS. I needed a reference book that can be my GPS for statistics, which is not my expertise. I used to google for tests and look for them in wikipedia, only to get more confused with the formulas they describe. I just need to do basic statistics and just want to know what test to perform and how to do it in SPSS. This book was recommended to me by a friend and is the best book I have found so far. I don't have to rely on statisticians anymore for basic things.
Please note that this book is no replacement for statisticians which will still be needed, especially for study design etc. I didn't see sample size calculation and power analysis in this book as well. If you are a stats student, perhaps you need to know more than what this book offers. But it's great for amateurs like me!
